yesterday we juz heard of the news for the death of Whitney Houston... today, we heard of the news for the death of a famous Taiwanese singer, Feng Fei Fei (鳳飛飛), (20-08-1953 - 03-01-2012)..
She is also a very famous singer during our childhood memories, the same as Whitney Houston, she also sang a lot of songs which are kept in our memories always.. She passed away on January 3, at about 3.19am in Hong Kong.. The news of her death was kept for over a month, as the Chinese New Year was approaching and she did not want her fans to receive the bad news, therefore her family kept this news for her till today, it was announced..
She died because of lung cancer, which she found out had her fourth stage lastyear when she was about to hold a concert but cancelled later on..
Her final resting place is in Taiwan.. her husband also passed away from lung cancer as well at the age of 70..
According to reports, the hat-loving singer said before her death: "I've led a happy and interesting life. Thank you, my brothers and sisters, for the exciting moments I've experienced.
"For the songs I've yet to sing, I will sing to you in my next life."
